"I think the hardest person to love is yourself."
When someone claims to be interested in me but doesn’t talk to me everyday, i cannot take them seriously. I need for you to at least say Goodmorning to me or ask how my day was. I like attention and it only takes 2.5 secs to send a simple ass text message
"I don’t think people love me. They love versions of me I have spun for them, versions of me they have construed in their minds. The easy versions of me, the easy parts of me to love."
"I am lonely, yet not everybody will do. I don’t know why, some people fill the gaps and others emphasize my loneliness."
My mother warned me that standing too close to the TV could make me go blind, but she never told me that love makes you blind too.
My mother warned me that smoking caused cancer, but she never told me that self-hatred grows faster than any tumor could.
My mother warned me that I shouldn’t listen to what others had to say, but she never told me what to do when that voice was my own.
My mother warned me about the devil with red horns and a tail, but she never told me about the tall, handsome one with hazel eyes and a smile that lit up the sky.
My mother warned me about the alcohol at parties, but she never told me that the more I drank the less I’d care.
My mother warned me that love was the most beautiful thing in the world, but she never told me that it’d keep me awake at three in the morning with tears down my cheeks.
My mother warned me that losing my virginity was something I should share with a boy I loved, but she never told me that he wouldn’t love me back.
My mother warned me that my skin was my house, but she never told me what would happen if I burned it to the ground.

One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the President’s Secret Service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, “Why was he so interested in talking to you?” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant,” to which Michelle responded, “No. If I had married him, he would now be the President.”
